The Douglas County Juneteenth Celebration welcomes Clinton Lake Museum, a registered Underground Railroad facility, to its line-up. Both the museum and Juneteenth officials are thrilled to add the museum to the celebration.

The Juneteenth celebration offered three short Underground Railroad tours throughout the day on June 17. The short tours gave visitors a historical perspective of Douglas County's Underground Railroad sites. In the future, daylong tours will be offered.
