Study Abroad with KU
Nearly 25% of all KU undergraduates participate in a study abroad program. For journalism students, that may be a summer spent studying Spanish or Italian in Europe. It may be a semester in Germany, Costa Rica, or Australia. Each summer, we have students gaining valuable professional experience as interns in locations like London, Dublin, Madrid, Sydney or Shanghai.
The KU Office of Study Abroad works with students to plan their experiences abroad. Whether you spend a spring break or a full semester, international experiences help build your skills and your portfolio as a Jayhawk Journalist. Check out the program search on the Study Abroad website and talk with your journalism advisor about where you’d like to go or what you’d like to study.
