Cop shift, Monday 4/3

KU Student Jessica Barker reported the theft of a maroon GT Arrete hybrid bike, valued at $267, on 3/31 between hours of 0700-2100. Incident took place at 1030.5, Ohio St.

KU Student Scott White reported burglary of a Trek 1200 10 speed bike, serial #1006495 from his residence at 733 Tennessee St. Bike is valued at $800

Criminal damage. Four tires with two-inch punctures on three different vehicles. Punctures appear to be caused by a knife. All victims are KU Students and are roomates at the 1200 block of Ohio St, at which the incident occured. Reported 3/31-4/1, 2315-2330 hours. One victim recieved text message from roommate saying his tire was low. The roomates inspected their other cars and noticed the damage to all three vehicles. Dustin Volz- Toyota 4-Runner Reed Niermeyer- 2001 Infinity Matthew Selzer- 2002 Toyota 4-Runner Victims had no idea on possible suspects.
