Description: Burglary
-Apple G4 laptop, $1400
Criminal Damage
-3 Glass picture frames, $75
-2 Canvas paintings, $80
She was getting ready to go out w/friends on 3/9 and, her ex-boyfriend showed up outside her door. She locked stuff up, waited for him to leave and stayed at a friend’s house that night. She returned home that morning, saw car resembling his parked outside. Apartment had three glass picture frames on counter was broken, two paintings had canvas slashed.

Location: 8 E. 6th St. (Abe and Jakes)
Victims/reporting parties: -Pedro Lopez (student)
-Bret Miller, Abe and Jakes employee
-Tyler Torneden, Abe and Jakes
-Matthew Tyson, KU student
Police officer assisted a deputy sheriff who was on patrol at the scene. The deputy had seen the suspects strike the victim. One suspect fled on foot but was caught by deputy. Employee witnessed victim being struck and instructed suspects to go home. Two suspects were arrested.

Agg. Burglary/Theft of a Neon Heineken sign

Residents were trying to sleep, heard front door open w/jingling sound. They didn’t think anything of it because they have other roommates. Awoke next morning to find their “welcome aboard Heineken” sign was gone. No neighbors saw anything.

Theft of a Moped
Date: 3/11
Time: 200-1100
Location: 2900 bob billings Pkwy
Victim: Corey Wonder (wunder?), KU student
-Sprinter Moped 2005, $900

Moped parked in front of apartment building. He had the keys.

Four KU students stole t-shirts from Sun Creations. Also took $4280 in misc. power tools from tools from Harris construction (720 E. 9th), which were all recovered. This happened on 3/13 from 12:30 AM-1:26 AM. Unsure if these burglaries were the result of storm (Looting). Alcohol was involved.

All four were arrested.
