Project coordinator (Kansas City, Missouri)
Willoughby Design, a brand strategy and design firm, is seeking a strategic communications/journalism major (preferably a senior) to intern in our Kansas City, Missouri, office located in Westport for the spring semester of 2018. This could evolve into a summer opportunity if we find the right fit.
The job description will be to support our founder, Ann Willoughby, and our partnership team with our 40th anniversary timeline, compilation of archives, communications and celebration. Internship duties will include helping to coordinate the timeline and organize content, editing, proofreading and potentially some writing. We are seeking candidates who are creative thinkers with strong organizational skills. Confidence being part of a team of designers, writers, and account managers is a must.
Ann is also in charge of archives for AIGA National and is working to compile a Kansas City design archive that will be a prototype for other AIGA members cities. This internship would potentially support that effort as well.
