Before coming to KU, Jackie had accomplished his Master of Arts in communication and Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting from Pittsburg State University while also finishing his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in broadcast announcing and hosting from Sichuan Normal University, China. He is a student member of the National Communication Association and the Association for Chinese Communication Studies. Jackie is originally from Anqing, China.
